It's Relatable

There are no coincidences, everything is purposeful in the grand scheme of things. To doubt this is problematic to our self development, for everything, regardless of how small or insignificant it may appear is somehow connected to how we perceive life and how we choose to live it. 

I ran into a neighbour yesterday, a very creative and interesting individual.  As we chatted about life, he commented on my art and writing. I don’t think he realized the impact his words carried.

As a creative, pursuing a creative path comes with challenges, specially as a creative living in Canada. It’s not impossible, however it is no secret that Art is much better received in other places than here at home. So, what do you do? when home is where the heart is, but home isn’t very welcoming to emerging artists.  You keep creating, for it has never been for external validations, but for the love of self expression. Creativity is in all of us, we all have the ability to share our thoughts, feelings, visions, hopes, dreams with one another and the world around us. 

Bill mentioned my art, but thankfully,  he didn’t narrow it to the visual form but also the words I’ve chosen to share. Unbeknownst to him, a gentle reminder, a nudge from the universe carefully delivered through him.  When words on paper are your first love, your first form of self expression, you remember your creative path and all its avenues. You seize the opportunity, you challenge yourself, you self expose your thoughts and feelings. You choose to remain true to yourself,  knowing that every interaction, every word received is relatable. You choose to stay on path and allow the words to be your current form of expression, for there is no direct path. Every single one of us travels a path carefully intertwined, purposefully destined for our own evolution.
